DUBAI: Al Bandar Rotana, a five-star hotel with a prime waterfront outlook, has registered high occupancy growth during summer holidays and Eid Al Azdha celebrations in Dubai.
Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager, Al Bandar Rotana and Arjaan by Rotana, said that the summer months look promising and they are upbeat to see high level of occupancy growth even better than before the pandemic.
Ashor noted that after successful Expo 2020 Dubai the UAE hotels are gearing up to cash in on Qatar’s World Cup travel rush. The country’s hospitality sector expect football fans – or a good number of them – to stay in the country before or after travelling to Qatar for the matches. The World Cup will have its first game on November 21 and the final on December 18.
“We already started getting lots of enquiries for teams and visitors.” Ashor added.
“The sudden surge in the international overnight visitors established a momentous marker in the hotel industry in 2022. With the increasing demand for reservations and bookings, there was a great boost in the occupancy level. We can attribute this to the regained confidence of the guests post the pandemic and to the continued strides of maintaining a high standard of the hotel. We are expecting the occupancy level to continue in 2022.” Ashor concluded.
Al Bandar Rotana has also launched a new campaign with very attractive rates for this summer by offering a 20 per cent off the lowest public room rate, with no restrictions on the length of stay, extra bed for free on all room categories for family stays, kids under 6 eat and drink for free and 50% off for children up to 12 years old.
