Al Bandar records 80% occupancy growth in first half of 2021

Al Bandar Rotana, a five-star hotel with a prime waterfront outlook, has recorded 80% occupancy growth in the first half of the year.

Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager, Al Bandar Rotana and Arjaan by Rotana, said that in last two months his property witnessed around 90% occupancy.

“The summer months look promising and we are upbeat to see level of occupancy even better than before the pandemic.” Ashor added.

Ashor mentioned that they feel proud for being based and serving in Dubai. Dubai has led the way in global tourism recovery despite the challenging times the world has faced due to Covid-19.”

“While the whole world was stuck trying to figure out how to save their tourism industry, Dubai successfully  managed to draw its way up & has shown great recovery far beyond major cities like Paris & London.” Ashor added.

“Thanks to the wise  leadership  and visionary steps of  His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today the City of Wonders has been a module to follow in dealing with each situation and turn it into added value.

“The ratio of vaccinated locals & residents has given tourists confident feeling to visit Dubai.  City’s credentials as one of the top destinations for tourists from around the world. It also underscored Dubai’s commitment when it comes to the health and safety of residents as well as visitors.”

“Dubai has managed to diversify demand and created new markets towards the city.”

“Dubai is close to host Expo 2020 in October this year and other countries are easing up the restrictions, we are looking  forward for an amazing last quarter of the year. The events agenda is getting busier and we see a lot of movements already towards end of the year.” Ashor concluded.
